Emily Murphy
Emily, 2008 Graduate Pennsylvania State University, small business owner, and special education parent advocate. She resides in the North Hills of Pittsburgh PA with her husband and 4 elementary, and middle school aged children. Emily is actively involved with the Hampton Township Rotary Club and is a recent participant in PEAL's Family Leadership Institute. She first learned of the PEAL center while navigating her family advocacy interactions. She is eager to help families identify and support their children's unique needs, and has direct experience in identifying resources and support for students who are Deaf/HOH, dyslexic, and twice exceptional. She looks forward most to building strong communities working toward inclusion in all spaces.
