Kristy brings over two decades of experience in the human service sector, fueled by a deep passion for creating lasting social impact. As the Communications Director for Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth of America, she firmly believes that engaging and inspiring storytelling lies at the heart of meaningful change. Her nonprofit expertise in program development, strategic communications, and grant acquisition has allowed programs to scale and deliver a more profound impact on communities.
Kristy lives in the Lehigh Valley with her husband and three children, including a daughter with Down syndrome. Her journey as a parent provides her with a nuanced understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and their families. This lived experience, coupled with her professional dedication to inclusion, shapes her commitment to empowering others and advocating for equitable opportunities. She is dedicated to helping the PEAL Center amplify its impact and improve the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families.
