Governor Josh Shapiro has issued a letter reaffirming Pennsylvania’s commitment to people with disabilities, families, advocates, and allies.
The Governor emphasized that Pennsylvania will continue protecting disability rights, investing in home- and community-based services, strengthening the direct care workforce, and reducing barriers to full participation. Regardless of changes at the federal level, the Commonwealth remains committed to ensuring that people with disabilities can live with dignity, choice, independence, and a meaningful voice in the decisions that affect their lives.
