Disability Pride PA

Disability Pride's mission is to celebrate and empower the disability community by bringing people together to have fun and advocate for disability justice, building an inclusive world for all. They were founded to make disability visible, celebrated, and centered in public life—starting with a simple but powerful idea: disabled people deserve joyful, accessible spaces to gather, be seen, and lead.

About the event

Disability Pride Pennsylvania creates vibrant opportunities to bring people together and challenge societal perceptions by celebrating disability as a powerful and valuable aspect of identity. Through accessible event planning, communication, and advocacy, the organization fosters a culture where individuals with disabilities are celebrated, supported, and encouraged to see their disability as a source of strength.

PEAL is excited to partner with Disability Pride PA 2026 season! We will be tabling at all five events:

Accessibility Statement
Disability Pride Pennsylvania is all about creating spaces for disabled joy and celebration. Nowhere is this more visible than our live celebrations taking place across the state. As Pride Season picks up, we wanted to take a moment to share what we mean when we say an event, whether live or virtual, is accessible.

Disability Pride Harrisburg

We had an amazing time at Disability Pride Harrisburg, celebrating community, connection, and advocacy.

"Representing the PEAL Center at the Harrisburg Disability Pride event was more than just being a community partner; it was an opportunity to connect, uplift, and advocate alongside a powerful community. As Outreach Coordinator, I’m proud to help amplify voices, expand access, and celebrate the strength, diversity, and pride within the disability community." - Lucille P.
